Phantom Avri. (creator/artist/writer/publisher/visual director)

Ant'juan "Phantom" Avri is a comic book creator/publisher/artist/writer, a recording artist, writer, photographer, and aspiring actor and director. As a kid he was always infatuated with film and always wanted to become that action hero while growing up watching Arnold, Sly, and Van Damme. He even decided to get a little more serious about it so he started taking acting classes but shied away from stage plays because he didn't want to take myself too serious. Avri had always liked the look and storytelling of film, being that he'd work with photos and writing and come from a comics and artistic background. Avri started my own company called "Dream Realm Entertainment". Under the Dream Realm imprint, "I wish to publish my works relating to clothing, music, graphic novels, and film. This is my own small indie company where I feel I have total creative freedom. I hope to create work for fans to enjoy as well as myself. Now I must work from the ground up".

Growing up he was heavily into Stephen King novels and films as well as John Carpenter, Wes Craven, Clive Barker, Boris Karloff, Vincent Price, George A. Romero, and later Discovered Dario Argento and far more later, Dean Koontz. Avri began reading comics just before the novels. He was into X-men and Chris Claremont and Planet Terry, Archie , Spider-man and Batman. Then was later introduced to Heavy Metal mag and some of the Image comics stuff that came around 92. He was always a big movie buff mostly into horror such as Phantasm, It, Hell raiser, The Entity, Enemy Mine, Alien, Piranha, Jaws, Dead Alive, Return Of The Living Dead, The Lost Boys, Evil Dead, Silent Night Deadly Night, Tales From The Crypt, The old Monsters tv show (all of them) You name it. "I was an 80's kid who was into the retro period so I was fascinated with movies and thing before my birth time such as House Of Wax, Christopher Lee, Bride Of Frank, Children Of The Corn, The Omen, Alfred Hitchcock, Edgar Allen Poe, Flat liners, and John Wayne films. Yeah I was a weird kid".

In school Avri had won numerous art awards and had even won the young authors awards for creating a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles book only to win 2nd place. He excelled in reading and writing classes once he had learned to write and capturing his bad dreams and turn them into a story with pen and pad. "I was even getting in trouble for creating comics in class and drawing and cutting out paper versions of the Transformers". He later decided to focus more on writing novels and creating short stories which was inspired by the work of Edgar Allen Poe, Alfred Hitchcock and Stephen King. Today Avri focuses more on comics, indie film, web design and music. He originally decided to be a wrestler, martial arts athlete, photographer, and then on to tattooing. He still dibs and dabs in all of the above. He still creates comics and has had his artwork displayed in public malls and publics schools in Louisville, Kentucky. He has also created artwork for musicians and created numerous websites. He hopes to take the comics and film industries by storm.
